with a Boating Trip to the San Juan Islands - August 16-26, 2009
-- It's nice to be retired and not to feel rushed to
get back home. Wonderful leisurely visit with everyone, more winery visits,
and a spectacular trip to the
San Juan Islands for
a weekend of kayaking, hiking and relaxing.
Washington Trip with Stop at Crater Lake - August 2008
-- Great family visit. Went up to explore the North
Cascades and hiked along the trail to Sauk Mountain - nice wildflowers.
Visited local wineries - yum, very much like some of the German wines.
Trip to Bellingham and
Lynden, WA in August 2006
-- Great time visiting Chris, Karyn and all the grandkids.
Lots of fun trips to nearby beaches. Chris and Mike's new home in Lynden was
wonderful and what a great community to live in.
